Dear Friends,

First of all CONGRATS!

My name is Mike Seaquist. I am a 32 year old native Chicagoan and I found my calling to be a DJ when I was just 10 years old. I decided to become a professional DJ about 10 years ago. I feel weddings are the most rewarding events to DJ and I am humbled to be a part of something as big as two people dedicating themselves to each other. That is why I love what I do.

Something To Celebrate is my private DJ practice as well as my family business. It is owned and operated by my wife Marta and I. That's us on the left on our big day 4/18/2009. That was one of the best days in our life.

95% of the all the events that I perform are weddings only and I wouldn't have it any other way. I absolutely love to share in the celebration of a wedding day. The responsibility of being your DJ goes way beyond just playing music because I know that the DJ or entertainment can make or break your event. It's very important that I host your wedding well to make sure everything runs smoothly and above all, that we work together to create a unique and personalized celebration full of music and memories that will last a life time.
